First year shooting dog, PineStraw Katydid, just whelped a litter of 5 puppies, 3 males and 2 females. The sire of the pups is RU-CH/ CH Chip's Torquato. Katie is by newly crowned Ontario Grouse CH Chip's Uncle Buzzy X Foster Award winner Sky's Blue Belle. Katie has puppy, derby, and shooting dog placements, and has placed in both walking and horseback trials. See page 30 of the May 8 edition of the Field for a picture.
